UPS

An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is a device that provides emergency power to electrical equipment in the event of a power outage or other disruption in the main power supply. UPS systems typically consist of a battery backup system and voltage regulation components that ensure a consistent flow of power to connected devices, even during a power outage or brownout.

UPS systems are commonly used to protect computers, servers, and other critical electronic equipment from damage or data loss caused by power interruptions. They may also be used to protect medical equipment, telecommunications systems, and other mission-critical devices. UPS systems can be either standalone units or integrated into larger power management systems.

UPS systems come in various sizes and configurations, from small desktop units designed for personal computers to large industrial systems designed to protect entire data centers or manufacturing facilities. They may also feature various levels of protection, such as surge suppression and line conditioning, to protect against power fluctuations and other electrical disturbances.
