Utility pump house

A utility pump house is a structure that is typically used to house a pump or pumps that are used to move water or other fluids from one location to another. These pump houses are often found in areas where there is a need to move water or other fluids from a lower elevation to a higher elevation.

The pump house may be a small, standalone structure, or it may be incorporated into a larger building. It may contain one or more pumps, as well as other equipment such as pipes, valves, and electrical controls. The pumps may be driven by electric motors or by other means such as diesel engines.

Utility pump houses are commonly used in a variety of applications, such as in agriculture to irrigate crops, in municipal water systems to pump water to higher elevations, in wastewater treatment plants to move sewage and other waste materials, and in industrial settings to move liquids through pipelines.
