Heating and Cooling Split System

Heating and cooling split systems are known to be the most common types of HVAC systems. As the name suggests it is split into two separate units, one serves the purpose of heating and the other one is for cooling. It is to be noted that these systems come with indoor and outdoor units that can be easily identified.

Such HVAC products are equipped with a cooling system outside which uses compressors, refrigerants and coils in order to cool air and a fan to keep away the hot air.  These are basically the AC units that are kept outside the home and run during the summer season.

On the other hand, the heater in the heating and cooling split system is placed in a basement and other storage space which uses gas to warm up the house.  A traditional thermostat is used in this process to control the temperature to keep it within the comfort level.
